Design (No.19) from the board of Laurent Giles with a graceful sheer, balanced overhangs and a powerful bermudan cutter rig. Built of Pitch Pine on Oak, Triune of Troy still has her original mast and boom, now with slab reefing of the mainsail and a wishbone staysail self-tacking boom with ProFurl reefing gear on the for’stay.
Current sails by Sanders of Lymington, including roller reefing genoa and furling asymmetric spinnaker.
A Beta Marine diesel engine (approx 28 HP) fitted in 1997 with a two-bladed folding propeller.
Original decks removed, re-decked and sheathed using high quality marine plywood. Strap floors replaced, with cast bronze in mast step area.
Mooring on the river Tamar, at Saltash included until October 2019.
